Compliance course
Scenario-based e-learning
The brief
The client, a national financial services company, needed a fresh approach to their existing anti-bribery and corruption compliance training. Their previous course relied heavily on short explainer videos, which, after several years of annual use, had lost their impact.
The company wanted a solution that would re-energise the content and ensure learners engaged with it meaningfully, especially given the critical nature of compliance in their sector.
The solution
I revamped the course by introducing a scenario-based structure, where learners investigate bribery and corruption within a fictional city setting. The content was tailored to specific job roles, ensuring that each learner encountered scenarios directly relevant to their day-to-day responsibilities.
This approach replaced the passive video-watching format with practical, job-related examples that helped learners apply the necessary knowledge in real-world situations, making the training more relevant and focused.
